The Alamo
The Alamo is undoubtedly one of the most crucial historic sites in America located in the outskirts of San Antonio. Built by Franciscans in the year 1744 and was converted into a fort in 1836. Its fame dates back during the Texan war of independence when a petite force fought against a tremendously superior Mexican army. All 187 Texan fighters were killed but the cry of "Remember the Alamo!" rallied the country to finally overcome the Mexicans and now the restored mission buildings and the cenotaph registers millions of visitors.
Six Flags Fiesta Texas- San Antonio
Last but not the least is the Six Flags Fiesta Texas which since its establishment has remained to be a top tourist attraction site. This impressive theme park has the lone “floorless” rollercoaster to offer in the southern part of the state. Over and above the site has a traditional theme park and a water park too and offers live entertainment which includes concerts, sows and paradise.
